The Champaign Parks Foundation is a not for profit organization that develops philanthropic support for the Champaign Park District

The Champaign Parks Foundation was launched by the Champaign Park District Board of Commissioners in January 2005 to accept and manage donations for the Champaign Park District. The Foundation's first project is renovation of the historic Virginia Theatre.

Private donations to the new Foundation will greatly benefit patrons of the award-winning Champaign Park District. Contributions can help preserve land for future parks, support the 620+ acres of existing land, as well as enhance programs and preserve the District's historical downtown cultural arts facilities.

Gifts may include land, cash, charitable trusts, stock donations, planned giving programs, estate planning, and bequests to specific parks, facilities or programs. Donations may also be unrestricted to provide assistance where needed. The Champaign Parks Foundation is a 501(c)3 charitable organization; all contributions are tax deductible.
